Galaxy Quest was one of those movies that I would show people that came to my house if they hadn't seen it. It was an obvious homage to Star Trek, but you didn't have to be a Trekkie to understand and love it. Loved talking about it on the cast, and I hope you love listening.

My kids turned me on to the Avatar: The Last Airbender cartoon. I thought it was good, but never hit as hard as it could have. I think the Netflix series is a rare case where the live action may actually be better than the original. Come along with us as we discuss.

Wonder Man was a very unique offering from Marvel. I'm glad that they're getting a season 2, because I wasn't satisfied with season 1. There are the hints of a character arc, but we need more context and payoff. Hoping S2 brings it, but either way it's a fun ride!

Invincible is the best written superhero TV series (animated or live action) of all time. The characters feel like how people would act if they had powers. The fights are amazing. The plots are interesting and keep you engaged. Come listen to some friends and I as we talk about this show.

Having watched so much TV over the years, I am always saddened by the great shows with such amazing potential that were cancelled far too soon. It was great talking with some others who felt the same way.

For years I wouldn't watch this movie, because I thought that it would just be a screed about the glories of the Confederacy. The reality was far more nuanced than I could have imagined. This was a neat panel, because we talked about this amazing film warts and all.

One Piece is bar none the greatest anime/manga to live action adaptation. There have been some other good ones, but this one is fantastic. They somehow figured out how to tell the story in less time, but still leave everything important intact. I highly recommend it.

Even though I love all of Star Trek, DS9 has always been my favorite Trek. It was a great experience to talk with a lot of people that I respect to discuss the finer points of this series and what made it so special.

It was so surreal that someone insisted to me that men and women see Gargoyles differently, but never explained how. They said that their podcast would explain, but their show ended before they ever released their Gargoyles episodes. Now, I'm seeing if this is true.

As much as I thought that Discovery never stuck the landing on ending the seasons, I loved the characters and was sorry to see it go. Had a lovely discussion talking about the finer points of the final season and looking forward to seeing some of the characters in Starfleet Academy.

I really love the Daredevil film and have ever since I first saw it. It's one of the few times that I've watched a movie three times in the theater. People hate on it a lot, but it's a story about hope after going through dark times with some fantastic performances. It was great talking about it.

I can't say enough good stuff about Gargoyles. This show took animation to the next level with nuanced characters and storylines with subtle arcs that interwove all the world's folklore into a single narrative. I highly recommend checking it out and then listening to our episode on it.

When I saw how poorly Marvel was promoting Ironheart, I thought it was because they must have thought that it was awful. Sometimes it's just fun to appreciate a bad film with some friends, and this episode celebrates MST3K doing this for decades. There are lots of eras and we all have our preferences, but the show has always been funny. Listen to us chat about a great series!

I know that a lot of people won't give The Man in the High Castle a try, because they think that it would be too depressing, but it just isn't the case. The series shows that even when things look bleak that there's always hope. This is a show well worth watching.

I feel like What If..? was a real mixed bag. It had some amazing storylines, but towards end it just puttered out. I still boggle at how many good What If scenarios were left by the wayside to do some incredibly outlandish ones. Still, we had a blast talking season 3 and we hope you do too!

I'm a huge fan of time travel series, but this one was absolutely unusual. Some of the normal time travel tropes were there but combined and spun in a completely new way. I highly recommend that you watch Travelers if you haven't already and then check out our episode.

Well, my kid got me to watch this show during Covid lockdown after I'd showed her all of Gargoyles. It's an enjoyable series even though I think that it has a few missteps. We also chat a bit about the live action film and why we think that it flopped so massively.

Although I remember seeing the original series before TNG existed, this is the first Star Trek I watched live. It was a transformational experience for geeks, because so many people watched it. It was great revisiting that experience and had a blast sharing with my friends. #sttng #tng

In some ways this show frustrates me. It proves that Marvel can brings its A-game when it wants to and make something that is really cleverly written. It only irks me because they did it for such a minor-level character. Marvel, please bring this level of writing to more projects moving forward.

This show surprised me with how a concept that sounded so strange on paper can just be such an amazing combination of elements that leaves you always hungering for more. I definitely recommend watching Only Murders in the Building and if/when you have done so listening to our podcast ep.
