As part of EU- JAMRAI’s AMR campaign, Loreta Isac’s illustration represents how trusting science is key to combating AMR. Supporting research, innovation, and joint efforts are important for developing evidence-based solutions to address AMR.

For EU-JAMRAI’s #SketchingAntimicrobialResistance campaign, Sergiy Maidukov depicts the power of vaccines in reducing the impact of AMR. CARB-X supports vaccine innovation to prevent some of the most serious drug-resistant threats.

EU-JAMRAI's campaign is raising awareness about the impacts of AMR through art. Lisa Junius’s illustration represents the danger AMR poses to global health. The WHO 2025 GLASS Report found that 1 in 6 lab-confirmed bacterial infections worldwide were resistant to antibiotics.

As part of EU-JAMRAI's #SketchingAntimicrobialResistance campaign, Anastasia Suvorova depicts AMR's strain on health systems and economies. Supporting antibacterial innovation is crucial – strengthening AMR R&D will drive benefits that extend beyond the patient and clinic.

For EU-JAMRAI's new campaign, Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou depicts how AMR compromises the progress of modern medicine. Antibiotics are just one part of the equation.
