A while after this juvie I posted yesterday worked on the duck, another Eagle came and tried to snatch it. It was dropped in the process. This Coopers hawk with eyes bigger than its mouth swooped down to haul the rest off into the bramble to eat.

Evening Eagle. Saw this likely first year Eagle land in the marsh, when it took off it had the remnants of a duck in its talons. To my surprise, it didn't go far and was in a tree over the road on my way out.
