Texas has proposed a bill in the legislature to ban all gender affirming care for adults. This includes both surgery & HRT. If you’re on HRT already, the bill says you have to wean off of it. I would fully expect an immediate legal challenge if this passes & is signed into law by Greg Abbott.

Here’s what I want from society as a trans person: ✅ the right to exist freely without laws that interfere with that right ✅ gold standard gender affirming healthcare ✅ to be left the fuck alone

I’m so glad I got a passport last summer. However in this case, her’s was stolen in Barcelona & they issued a male one as a replacement. The indignity of this regime towards trans people is out of control.

Breaking 🚨 This is how they will attack adult trans care. A 25 year statute of limitations is legally untenable & will make docs uninsurable. I believe that we need to have good standards of care for adult trans care in place to combat these types of bills & laws.
