i think, to an experienced software eng, frontier llms (eg codex) allow cognitive management of greater complexity, allowing features and refinements that would not otherwise be possible, leading to a very complex codebase. & it's fine w/ precise architecture, closed-loop dev & comprehensive tests.

lil pro tip: set up a daily job to use codex (or whatever) to summarize the last N days of commits. especially great for developing against external projects. bonus points for using the same process across related projects in one go & keep a log of every day's response. i've found this invaluable.
