I did something important today. Over the past year I've been developing an introductory women's literature course for my department. Today it was approved, and it turns out we've never had such a class. But we do now, and I'm humbled I get to teach it. This work is so important.

Giving a talk on Tuesday and I'm already super nervous

MFW I'm asked if I can make a meeting, and I say no, and suggest other times, and the person keeps sending me an invitation for the meeting I originally said I couldn't attend with "you keep declining so there must be an error. Sending it again." No error. You just didn't read previous email.

I guess I'm here. Where are the poets?!
