Today is International Holocaust Memorial Day. 81 years later, Jewish hatred hasn’t disappeared — it’s only changed shape. Jews were once told we didn’t belong. Now we’re told to disappear. History is clear. Silence is dangerous. We remember. We speak. We refuse to be silent. 🕯💙

Too many never lived to tell theirs.81 years later - and Jewish people are once again accused of the worst possible things of the time and place we live in.Only decades ago, Jews were persecuted for not being white enough.Now, we’re told we’re too white.We didn’t belong in Europe - now we’re told to “go back” to Europe.Jewish hatred is ancient, deeply ingrained, and endlessly shape-shifting.And none of it makes sense.A people who were expelled, robbed, stripped of everything - over and over - and forced to start from nothing.And yet, the focus was always life: learning, contributing, working, creating, celebrating, giving.History is painfully clear.It takes either deep ignorance or deep hate not to see it.And yet, here we are.Jewish children need armed guards to play outside. To go to school.Adults need to pay for security to worship.Protests outside synagogues have become normal.Things no other group is asked to live with.And the one place where Jews don’t need to apologize for existing - the origin of my people, Israel - is the most demonized place on earth.The most dangerous thing is not hate.It’s silence.Because silence allows evil to win.And history shows us something else just as clearly:No culture, no society, no civilization has ever prospered while persecuting Jews.We remember.We speak.We refuse to be silent.And the only thing I can ask is that you do the same 💙🕯 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUBHFN3DcWv/?igsh=aTg2NHJkcWl3aWk2
