I suggest we make July 10 a global holiday. That’s when the new album by The Rolling Stones comes out. Foreign Tongues. It actually features a cover of a song by Amy Winehouse.

In 2018, I went to a great Einstürzende Neubauten performance. At one point, one of the “instruments” malfunctioned. Blixa Bargeld started giving instructions on how to fix it. Then he turned to the audience and said: “At moments like this, I sometimes think: why didn’t we just start a rock band?”

First ever audiophile release of this album on Dutch label Artone Signature. A great album, a classic, but I'm not so sure about the 45rpm and that "the original LP track order was slightly changed and re-sequenced."

I almost forgot how great It's Only Rock 'n' Roll is. Listen to the amazing guitar solos by Mick Taylor in Time Waits for No One and Short and Curlies. He even plays bass on Fingerprint File, a song driven by sleazy funk and paranoid lyrics. Vintage Stones. One of their best albums of the ’70s.

Haven’t played this lp in quite a while, almost forgotten how great it is. I once interviewed Blixa Bargeld in his hotel room at the American in Amsterdam 2001. Turned into a great conversation. He opened his room door wearing a fur hat and holding a glass of white wine— at 11 in the morning.

Such a great dance pop gem by Bebe Rexha and Faithless. The song of summer 2026!

Like flipping over a crate of records and having J Dilla piece it all back together. On this double album he does it in such a quirky, offbeat way that it almost sounds like brand new music.
