Q: for development processes, are hard numbers available instead of % reduction in time periods? A: yes. Some is embedded in provincial legislation that the mayor was in favour of passing.

Q: parkland and greenspace ratio to housing development? A: ratio is “just okay”, and is built into official plans to maintain ratio.

Q: anticipating a drop in credit rating, is this seen across other municipalities? A: difficult to assess, but as historically Guelph may fall in line with higher rates of similar municipalities.

Q: what is unemployment rate in Guelph? A: 6.9% Historically low, can be a double-edged sword when seeking skilled workers, and is important to continue to diversify.

Q: how do multiple organizations providing social support ensure continuity of services and care? A: collaboration increased during Covid, and Planning Tables connect those performing similar work.
