Many years ago, I was a NSF graduate fellow. When I started my NSF funded research, hardly anyone was interested in the process we were studying. Now there are hundreds of papers on this process, and it usefulness in agriculture. Thank you NSF for believing in vegetative phase change! #WithoutNSF
