Romance, pretty much all flavors. I’ve read romcoms for the most part, because that’s what I write so it’s what I read because I enjoy it, but also to stay up-to-date on trends, etc., but I’ve been known to love romantasy, historical romance, and things with considerably less com in them. 💋

Hmm… Abbie might tell her story through a script one day. Maxx would keep no evidence. Rose writing things down would mean acknowledging her feelings. Mattie… is a toss-up. Reggie has a blog/podcast, so she definitely has records of everything. #amwriting

Hello, writer friends — a bit of an explanation on my end. My job picked up quite a lot in May, and I was chugging along until just about 2 weeks ago when I was (randomly) let go. 🧵🪡

That sometimes the characters are not always right. It used to be, “Well, if this is what they want to do…!” and lbr… havoc. Although now it’s usually my characters telling me, “Shh… not yet…” so maybe they’ve just internalized the pacing and are telling me what they want in good time? #camprevpit

Probably about a 7/8 plotter. I start with the seed and then start building my bones. Sometimes that means abandoning the seed, which is hard, but (usually) okay. As I draft, I leave wiggle room for underdeveloped/explored parts to keep discovering things that click! #crpdamselflies #camprevpit
