Just finished the brilliant City blues quartet by Ray Celestin. Can't recommend these books highly enough, detectives, the mob, government corruption, serial killers, jazz and blues, each set in a different U.S city, New Orleans, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles across 4 decades. Just superb 👌 👏
