Last nights Hail Ceaser. The might of Rome against the Han Chinese. A not so imperial Rome came unstuck, the Legions being ground down to a halt & then flanked, the cavalry failed to do anything against the lighter but more nimble Chinese.

First 3 late war Fallscrimjaeger finished, they’ve got that real retreat on all fronts feel to them. Warlords figures are really good know.

It’s a busy painting table at the minute with an impending campaign on the horizon. More Reb cavalry started , a flamboyant cavalry officer and the start of the Tennessee brigade #wargmes #pickettscharge #spreadthelard #perryminiatures

So a few more Reb units completed, just one more artillery unit to add then make a start on my cavalry brigade . Very addictive this ACW .

So my Rebs are know up to 3 regiments, having completed the 14th Louisiana. This project really is my army for the year . Maybe with the addition of a few Union units.

Because every brigade needs a brigadier.

First game of 2024 , saw the Reb Advance guard stumble into a Union delaying action. However they prevailed with the Rebs wiping out a cavalry brigade and a 2 artillery batteries. First blood to the Rebs in the campaign .

Completed the 2nd Kentucky regiment, this will be my major project for 2024,both Rebs and Yanks. Had a couple of games so far and loving this period , made a start on the 9th Kentucky as well.

The 2nd Kentucky really starting to take shape know. Just ordered this as well. Read good things about the book .
