I made the effort to see the Euan Uglow exhibition at the Milton Keynes Gallery today before it closes tomorrow. Iâm so glad I did. Such beautiful images and wonderful sensitivity to colour.

One of the things that made me who I am. I adore Uncle. My wife & I signed into our Honeymoon Suite as Mr & Mrs B. Hateman. We still refer to Noddy Ninety, the nonagenarian who sneaks into school in disguise so he can answer all of the teacherâs questions. Iâm lucky to have a complete set of books.

I only picked up on this when it was the Wire album of the year - although it was mentioned a lot by k-punk in the heyday of Hauntology. Still my favourite of his works. Top track: U Hurt Me

I heard âSign âOâ The Times by Prince on a Radio 1 âRound Tableâ where new tracks were reviewed by guests - in this case Sinead OâConnor who understandably raved about it. I was driving up the M6 to Manchester to see friends and bought a copy as soon as I could

Age 9, my friends & I followed the Apollo 11 mission obsessively. We each had a pack with a fold out map of the journey & a card ship that could be disassembled at each stage of the journey. Tonight, weâve all been in touch online - one of us from Cape Canavarel - sharing that excitement again

âMoney! Glamour! Yachts! But not for me!â Adrian Searle relives 30 glorious years as our chief art critic
He has faced off a fighter jet, ridden a motorised bed and even been a Beano character. As he steps down, the mighty Guardian critic delivers his insights, confesses his crimes and relives his highs
