I don’t think Riot Women couldn’t have been written by anyone other than Sally Wainwright. Exceptional female characters. Complex and real. What a cast! And the male characters. Well the less said the better.

I roasted a chicken and for the first time since, probably February, we had it with veg and not a big salad.

I am (very nearly) home after 6 days, 5 nights and 3 countries away. And on my continuous Desert Island Discs discovery, Alan Carr (2018) was of course wonderful and laugh out loud funny. And Martina Navratilova (2012) was very good. Didn’t know much of her background.

I could never survive in Helsinki. All the decent coffee shops open 10am 😮 So me out and about since 8am walking the mean streets to get some steps in before work has been a struggle I tell you. Ended up at a proper tourist spot to make do but was decent enough.

If only we (hospitality) could get people to stay out out past 11pm never mind the early hours… pfffft.
