found my label printer & scales this morning !! I’m getting closer to having everything I need. now just to purchase a few more things (I gotta save first) & do some more experimenting/prototyping, then I can make my products to then photograph hehe! 🎀

this morning I worked on keychain designs !!! 🥺🩷💕 zap had a good deal on so I’ll be developing 3(!!!) of my illustrations into 2.5” keychains (double sided and matte finish like the strawb kitty phone charm I made for myself)

spent the morning doodling & then had a looong hot shower which really helped my cramps 🥺 my samples also arrived so I’ll be taking a look at those & planning some new products over the next few days 🥰

I finished my fairy bear sticker sheet … it took me over 8 hours pencil to screen time but omg… I seriously cooked with this one 🫣 I hope I can get my lil shop open during the autumn season so you can adopt some of these cuties 🎀 now planning some bookmarks to match 💭

so embarrassed to say this but I went to my blood test a day early & it took me an hour of waiting to be called before I realised 😭😭

Online age verification is not like "showing ID to buy alcohol" because a) the liquor store doesn't get to scan your ID and store a digital copy of it forever in a database that will inevitably get hacked b) you don't have to show ID to go to the library because they have cocktail recipe books

I had a flare up (of an unknown ongoing condition) the other day & today I feel so sleepy 🥺 I’ve been taking it easy & just looking into manus / ordering sample packs to study the quality in person. pushing past the feeling of disappointment & trying to find joy in taking a restful moment instead 🩷

I was fiddling around with my ko-fi account this morning & figured out how to track my engagement there (and my carrd website) with google analytics ??? which I never knew was possible. so we’ll see if it can provide me with any useful info of what you guys are into 🥹🎀🌷

✨ HOW TO support artists for a lil money ✨ - ko-fi tip jar - buy a coffee! - patreon - a lot of artists have $1-5 tier ranges! - become a twitch sub (payout min) - sticker shops can have a lower price point! a couple bucks can go a LONG way for artists! u don't have to drop hundreds to support ✨💫

I feel like it can't be understated how impactful even a relatively small percentage of people's audience supporting them can be. Like, if 5% of the people who love the work an artist does subbed to them on Patreon, that would probably be close to a livable wage for most of them.

yesterday I set up my printer and cutting machine for the very first time (they’ve been sat in a box since 2022 😭) & omg it felt SO GOOD!!!!! 💕🩷 is it the right time? not really as I still need certain items and I don’t have a lot of designs to print/make, yet but will it EVER be the right time ???

this morning I edited a reel for instagram and I really like how it turned out 🥺🥺 I’m going to try and edit my longer video into a youtube video (as I recorded this one sideways) and maybe combine it with some clips from when I drew the animals for my pattern 💭

today I set myself some small goals for the morning & achieved them !!! it’s been a while since I felt comfortable enough to write some out, but today was the day 🥺 now I’m onto my next task - to find some cute jewellery beads online & brainstorm some new products 🥹🌷🌷

me & my son slept in this morning so it’s been a slow start but I just spent the past half hour recording a little unboxing video of my katnipp sticker sheets !! I will most likely chicken out and never post it anywhere but it’s a big big improvement in my social anxiety & facing my fears hehe 🥺🥹🌷🌷

spent the morning looking into external storage for my macbook (a task I’ve been putting off for YEARS) & finally decided on the ones I want 🤩💕 I’ll need to save up first though hehehe. thennn I’ve been researching into mailing lists & I’m thinking I’ll launch one before my shop opening 👀
