Always nice to chat to new potential collaborators in science. I have decided life is too short and to prioritise working with people who "I could see myself meeting up with outside of work".

Btw, my serious work is research into injectable radioactive therapies for cancer. My list of things to get done today is sit on 3 appeals panels, have update chats with students and try to finish the review of PhD thesis introduction ... But all I can think about is snow!!

Just a random Friday reflection. PhD vivas are hard for all - the student ofcourse, but also the supervisor who has been there through the ups and downs and guided the student for all of 4 years. Vivas affect everyone.
