I beat the game on hard mode grrr. Onwards to NG+ and beyond and I'm gonna make the difficulty subsequently easier while I just get stronger for that max difference to just absolutely decimate everything to payback for the pain I endured in NG 💀

DUDE I AM FUMING RN just when I thought these enemy was just REALLY tanky, it turns out they were BUGGED and literally wouldn't die. I had to look up a playthrough to see how you actually kill these things and they actually go down in 3 light hits which is when I found out it's a bug 💀

No, I will not change the difficulty. I don't care if I die 5 billion times to the same enemies in these cramped corridors and get my weapon caught while the camera messes with my aiming and my stamina depletes within 2 dodges and I get ganked by 4 different enemies at once. If I die, I die.

After all these comics I actually still have no idea how to panel, I honestly just bang my head against the wall until it looks right. But you know what, that's the coolest thing about art. You have no idea what the hell you're doing but you make it through 100% of the time anyway. Insane.

I think the reason it's so frustrating is in my brain it feels like I'd be copying them from the moment I'd seen it. On the other hand I could picture some imaginary crowd yelling at me about "stealing" ideas. And you have no proof that you've thought of the thing already before you saw it.

The absolute frustration of seeing somebody else draw and post the exact idea you were gonna draw first is quite unmatched...💀

I want to go faster. But I think it's less about pure speed and more about how the process of drawing can be interrupted as little as possible (from erasing/redrawing/fixing things which I realize I do a lot; wastes a lot of time) so I'm gonna be more conscious of that and see how things improve.

I think posting more of my thoughts here on bluesky is a pretty good change from twitter. But yeah, just realized that I may have been suffering from fatigue from bad sleep/lack of sleep for a while so my days haven't been too great recently. So yeah, libra balls.

I can get a feeling that a comic idea is gonna be good if I can't stop myself from laughing like a maniac reading through the rough sketches. It's like laughing at your own jokes but I think it's always been the most reliable sign I use to judge whether a work is good enough to continue.

So I'm just remembering Dark Souls 2 again and in hindsight it just really feels like every level was intentionally designed to make players rage as much as possible. You just keep getting endless bs deaths like falling in the water or slipping off some very obscure ledge... and the BABY JUMPS 🤣
