I've always wanted to be friends with cake decorators and people who know when to say, "No more coffee today, thanks."

I write (and read) poetry because I have to. It's an elixir. Medicine. Breath. So when my sister asks a friend why I spend all that time writing, he says, "For the same reason that you live in the Church."

Tornadoes moved through the St Louis area in the last hour. This spring is the worst tornado season I've experienced. Anyone else witnessing increased weather weirdness in your area?
