Trying to develop some twitch integrations and there's no good libraries in the languages I'd want to use. I'm kind of tempted to make my own but that's how you derail things and end up taking a year to make anything... EventSub is just websockets (for my purposes), how hard can it be?

I've been way too into playing silksong so I'm streaming it for a little more tonight at twitch.tv/baricus. I am maybe playing it to much 😆 I'm just glad it pulled me in so well; hollow knight always gave me trouble there.

I have somehow ended up in act two of silk song without ever getting the hover power up (and who knows what else). I've been playing this so randomly and I love that I feel like I can go anywhere. It has really opened up and it's awesome to feel like I'm really exploring my own path.

With how much everyone is talking about silksong's difficulty I feel like I'll have to hit a brick wall any minute now. So far it's felt pretty smooth with its difficulty curve. I'm still in act one though so I have to wait and see.

It feels like every other week twitch tells me that my browser (the latest firefox version) is unsupported and blocks me from logging in. Meanwhile everything but the login continues to work flawlessly. It's extremely frustrating that they can't handle this properly.

Do you ever just "finish" a work by saying that you're vaguely unhappy with it but have run out of things to change so it's done? I feel like that happens a lot, not that it helps me when it comes up.

It's a pleasant surprise that FragPunk just worked for me on Linux. It's silly to need to say that (most games I try do just work) but after not playing Valorant for months due to it I'm just glad this game isn't blocking me out too. I hope that will last 🤞
