The synth I ended with felt very cantina so I had to try with the obvious midi file. I think it came out sounding pretty good! I have some ideas for how I can use this sound... The midi is from Keeper1st on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdGG.... It's so much fun (and pain) to actually play.

I'm playing with FM synths for the first time and it's so easy to make it devolve into horrible screeching.

Why do I need to set a duration for going live? A toggle would be so much easier. Of course, automating it would be ever better but maybe a project for another day.

I beat hard mode in star of providence today and my heart was pounding so hard. I was on 1 HP and a dream. I know there's like 500 other things to still do, but I'll take this accomplishment 😄 It's one of the most fun games I've played recently.

Trying to develop some twitch integrations and there's no good libraries in the languages I'd want to use. I'm kind of tempted to make my own but that's how you derail things and end up taking a year to make anything... EventSub is just websockets (for my purposes), how hard can it be?

I've been way too into playing silksong so I'm streaming it for a little more tonight at twitch.tv/baricus. I am maybe playing it to much 😆 I'm just glad it pulled me in so well; hollow knight always gave me trouble there.

I have somehow ended up in act two of silk song without ever getting the hover power up (and who knows what else). I've been playing this so randomly and I love that I feel like I can go anywhere. It has really opened up and it's awesome to feel like I'm really exploring my own path.

With how much everyone is talking about silksong's difficulty I feel like I'll have to hit a brick wall any minute now. So far it's felt pretty smooth with its difficulty curve. I'm still in act one though so I have to wait and see.
