For me it would be learning what I’m missing that would bring me across the finish line to a deal. It’s like a recipe. I feel I have all the right ingredients but maybe im not mixing or baking the right way. I haven’t really had any training I tend to mirror what I see out there. #amwriting

ALIENS HAVE KIDNAPPED CHRISTMAS Mrs. Claus shows Elfin a locket that contains a snowflake Santa captured for her when they fist met. But later on Elfin discovers that it has some magical properties of its own. Naturally he is curious from a scientific perspective!

I think for me its just getting that story idea out of my head and starting to write it down. Seeing how it grows over time. Or when I have those moments when the perfect idea for a piece of the story comes into my head and even better when I can connect 2 different stories together in some way!

THE MONSTER SQUAD The Fearsome Fivesome group of boys. Those friends that you do everything with and have your back. Think of the Stranger Things kids and what they have been like growing up and that’s how I see this group.

ALIENS HAVE KIDNAPPED CHRISTMAS I’d say the Elfin/Santa dynamic. While Elfins father is in the story, there is conflict there. With Santa he can be more open. Santa is like that teacher you might go to when you don’t feel comfortable going to your parents. Something I’ll explore more in the future!

Not currently reading anything but looking for a good #MG thriller/horror to get inspiration for a thriller I want to write while binging Stranger Things preparing for the final season. I don’t read a lot because I worry about dipping into others ideas while I’m working on my own.

THE MONSTER SQUAD 1 of the few movies I saw at the theater as a kid. After seeing a 30th anniversary screening I knew I wanted to remake this into a superhero story. I picked PA because it’s where I went to college and named the town Sunnywood as a play on the town from Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
