Our #ScientistSpotlight this week features DCPB's BSP nominee Emma Rhodes. Emma is a PhD candidate at Auburn University, who will be presenting on seasonal mitochondrial adaptations aiding in bird migration in crowned-sparrows and the Mimidae family.

This week for our #ScientistSpotlight series we are featuring DCPB's BSP nominee Emily [email protected] is a postdoctoral scholar at University of Chicago, who will be presenting on the molecular convergent evolution of bioluminescence in octocoral cnidarians and brittle stars echinoderms!

Kicking off this year's #ScientistSpotlight series is DCPB's BSP nominee Janki Bhalodi. Janki is a PhD candidate at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, who will be presenting on how the genomic HSF regulatory architecture shapes the transcriptomic response to stress in sea anemones🌊
