After seven dazzling years at the helm, Louise Bezzina takes her final bow today – leaving Brisbane Festival forever changed, and infinitely brighter. While this marks the end of one chapter, we can’t wait to see what magic Lou makes with our friends at Brisbane Powerhouse!

Skylore — Nieergoo: Spirit of the Whale was the perfect send off for Brisbane Festival 2025. From artists, arts-workers, and audiences to donors, partners, and volunteers, the Festival wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of so many. We can't wait to do it all again next year: 4–26 Sep 2026!

From 22 – 27 Sep, Australia’s premier #disability -led performing arts festival is back! Undercover Artist Festival is an Access Arts initiative in partnership with Queensland Theatre, Brisbane Festival and AbiliTV supported by the QLD Government through Arts Queensland and Brisbane City Council.
