Nazem Kadri has been traded from #Flames to #GoAvsGo. A second stint with Colorado, they are loading up for a cup. Very possible his offensive production numbers will shoot through the roof now.

JG Pageau has signed a contract extension with the #Isles. 3 years, $4.85M AAV. This is right in line with his projected contract. 3C locked up in New York.

Things haven't clicked in the NHL yet for Lukas Reichel. He'll now head to #NHLBruins from the #Canucks. Could the speedy forward find his game in Boston?

David Kampf has been traded from #Canucks to #ALLCAPS. A possible Nic Dowd replacement in the lineup for this season. UFA this offseason.

Scott Laughton has been traded by #LeafsForever to #GoKingsGo. He should provide bottom six level production, with some physicality. Plus he can be a faceoff specialist. He will be a UFA this offseason.

In the Schenn trade to #Isles, Jonathan Drouin was sent back to #STLBlues. Offsets some money in the deal, and provides Drouin a change of scenery as it wasn't quite clicking in NYI.

Ryan Strome is traded from #FlyTogether to the #Flames. He has good impacts at both ends of the ice this season but has been stuck in a 4th line role in ANA (abundance of forwards). Maybe he gets another shot at a bigger role in CGY. 1x5M remaining.

Bobby McMann has been traded from #LeafsForever to #SeaKraken. A fast and physical winger who can provide offensive production in Seattle's top 9. He will be a UFA, and our projection is likely a bit low after seeing the Kiefer Sherwood contract.

Justin Faulk is being traded from #STLBlues to #LGRW. He'll be able to provide a steady defensive presence and contribute a bit defensively. Good player to add to the playoff race.

Brayden Schenn has waived his NTC to go from #STLBlues to #Isles. He brings veteran, cup winning leadership to a retooling team that is performing well. Solid defensive impact. Offense has been tough this year, but let's see if a fresh start help him reset.

Elmer Soderblom is headed from #LGRW to #LetsGoPens for a 3rd rounder. Soderbom is a bottom six winger who can bring some physicality to the lineup.

Timothy Liljegren has been traded from #TheFutureIsTeal to #ALLCAPS. Not having the greatest season but does have a history of some decent metrics, the Capitals get Liljegren to replace Carlson on the #NHL roster.

Nic Deslauriers is headed from #LetsGoFlyers to #CarolinaCulture. Having a decent year from impact standpoint for a guy known for hitting and fighting.

Jordan Eberle and the Seattle Kraken have agreed to a 2 year, $5.5M AAV extension. This is a bit above our projection. While important to the leadership group, Eberle's offensive abilities seem to have been declining. #SeaKraken

Vinnie Hinostroza, a depth winger, is being traded from #MNWild to #TimeToHunt for future considerations. He brings speed when in the lineup.

Corey Perry, good for some goal production and decent metrics in the bottom six, has been traded from #GoKingsGo to #GoBolts for a 2nd round pick. He will be a UFA in July at age 41.

Sounds like Nick Foligno will be headed from the #Blackhawks to the #MNWild to play with his brother Marcus! Foligno is a rental (pending UFA) and should provide depth in the bottom six!

Alex Nedeljkovic and #TheFutureIsTeal have agreed to a 2 year, $3M AAV extension. Definitely a reasonable deal. Ned has been good for them, especially considering the defensive play in front of him. Askarov and Ned will remain the tandem for SJS!

David Jiricek, a right shot defenseman headed to #LetsGoFlyers from #MNWild in the Brink trade, has struggled to find his footing in Minnesota. As a young defenseman, there is still time to realize his potential.

Sounds like Bobby Brink, a #LetsGoFlyers winger who will be RFA this offseason, is headed to #MNWild. There is a little bit of everything in Brink's game, as he'll bring speed, physicality, secondary scoring, and strong defensive play to Minnesota.

John Carlson, a pending UFA RD, has been traded by #ALLCAPS to #FlyTogether. He is still a very good offensive d-man, the Ducks are going for it! No salary retained, with the Capitals netting a 1st and 3rd.

In the Stanley/Schenn trade with #Sabrehood, #GoJetsGo acquire depth D Jacob Bryson and prospect winger Isak Rosen. Bryson has solid impacts but doesn’t do much. In some stints, Rosen (AHL All-Star) has been defensively responsible, hopefully can provide some offense in a bigger role Winnipeg.

Conor Garland has been traded from the #Canucks to #CBJ for a 2nd and a 3rd. Garland is a winger who traditionally has a solid all around game. The defensive side hasn’t been great this season, but he’ll look to rebound with Columbus. 6x6 extension starts next year.

Logan Stanley & Luke Schenn are being traded by #GoJetsGo to #Sabrehood. Stanley seems to have developed a pretty solid shot. Both bring physicality. Both come with some very questionable defensive impacts. Both rentals.

Sam Carrick is being traded from #NYR to #Sabrehood. Solid depth addition for the Buffalo Sabres. Decent defensive 4th liner, physical, and good on faceoffs.

David Perron has been traded by #GoSensGo to #LGRW for a conditional 2026 4th. Second stint with the team. The veteran rental can still provide some offense and good impacts at both ends of the ice.

Ryan Poehling has agreed to a 4yr, $3.75M extension with #FlyTogether. Poehling, solid 3C option, was going to hit the UFA market at age 27. While this AAV is a little higher than the projected $3.1M, it's fairly reasonable considering more term is being bought at a young age.

Middle 6 winger Michael Bunting is on his way to #TexasHockey from #Smashville for a 3rd rounder. Solid pickup by DAL moving a mid round pick for a rental who brings solid play at both ends of the ice.

Warren Foegele has been traded by #GoKingsGo to #GoSensGo. A needed change of scenery, Foegele is an ideal 3rd line winger with solid defensive metrics & could see some offense come back to his game away from LAK.

A solid depth move for the #MNWild: trading a 2026 7th to #TimeToHunt for RD Jeff Petry. Not a whole lot left to his game but the veteran has been solid defensively this season. He can bring some physicality still.

Colton Parayko, RD for the #STLBlues, chose to exercise his contractual right to NOT waive his full NTC to #Sabrehood. Could he be moved to a preferred destination? Potentially. One of the best defensive d-men in the NHL.

Nicolas Roy has been traded from #LeafsForever to #GoAvsGo for a conditional 2027 1st and a conditional 2026 5th. Colorado gets their 3C, who is looking for a bounce back situation and has one year remaining at $3M.

Nic Dowd has been traded from #ALLCAPS to #VegasBorn. Known as a shutdown bottom 6 center, Dowd has some extra skills (physicality, shot blocking, faceoffs, etc.) that contenders love to add for the playoffs. Not a rental, 1 more year at $3M.

The Edmonton Oilers used a 1st round pick to dump Mangiapane to the Chicago Blackhawks and acquire shutdown 3C Jason Dickinson and a physical 4th liner in Colton Dach. #LetsGoOilers #Blackhawks

Right shot defenseman Nick Blankenburg is on the move from #Smashville to #GoAvsGo for a 2027 5th round pick. Great pick up for Colorado at a steal of a price.

MacKenzie Weegar, acquired by the Utah Mammoth, is having a little bit of a down season defensively for his standards. That said, still a lot to like about this player, lots of skill. Big move for #TusksUp

Cole Smith, a pending UFA winger for the Predators, has now been dealt to the Golden Knights for a third rounder. A physical fourth liner with solid metrics, a move like this should help bring needed depth to Vegas. #NHL

The Wild are acquiring Michael McCarron from the Predators for a 2nd rounder. McCarron, a pending UFA, provides everything but goal scoring in the bottom six. MIN still needs a top6 C.

For a second round pick, the Oilers have acquired Connor Murphy from the Blackhawks with 50% (2.2M) retained. Murphy is a veteran right shot d-man who can bring physicality and solid defensive play to Edmonton. #NHL

The Seattle Kraken have locked up a couple depth forwards, Ryan Winterton and Ben Meyers, to very reasonable contracts. Time will tell, but Winterton has some potential to become more than the 4th liner he’s been this season. #SEAKraken

Samuel Girard has been traded from the Avalanche to the Penguins for Brett Kulak. Both have been skating top4 5v5 minutes. Girard has a little more flash offensively while Kulak is a defensive D. Interestingly, Kulak is a rental (projection below) and Girard has a year left at $5M.
