Just had a big laugh. Was perusing the many current menus on Anthem of the Seas & I reckon I’ll be the only person in history that DOES’NT put on weight on a cruise 😂 The first time that being a SUPER plain eater has ever worked in my favour (no pepper, herbs, spices & many veggies for me tyvm).

As we close out 2024 I’d like to wish my dear friends a new year that is filled with abundantly more happy moments than challenging ones, less stress & more love. I had a rather interesting day yesterday. A lady (same age as me) I work with told me a) that I don’t know how to wear makeup and b) that I don’t dress for my age, but in the same sentence said it’s no wonder I can’t get a man because I don’t dress or act sexily enough 🤷‍♀️

I’m going to take this way of thinking to my deathbed. For the life of me I honestly can’t understand what is gained by people saying hurtful things to one another. What’s to be gained? My Nan taught me not to open my mouth unless what I had to say is all 3 of these - true, necessary & kind. 🥰

I’m going to sound like a real grumble bum here but boy I can’t wait till I live in a Nursing Home 😄 When I was a kid, if we wanted to play & scream at the top of our lungs we had to go to a big local park to do so. Parents wouldn’t allow it for hours on end on our street. I must be getting old!

Just saw this on FB and it took me straight back to when I was 15. I’ve never been able to memorise prose of any kind (could never have been an actress) but for some reason in Yr 10 as part of an English assignment I was able to with this poem (well most of it anyway 😀).

Just finished watching a doco on Netflix called Remembering Gene Wilder. One of my all time favourite actors. My top 5 movies of his: 1. Young Frankenstein 2. The Frisco Kid 3. Blazing Saddles 4. Stir Crazy 5. Willy Wonka Yours?
