“If you really think that’s going to change my plans, think again.” He muttered, then he snatched up her gift and grabbed her by the arm again. This time he dragged her up to her room and locked her inside with her gown.

“You don’t need a boyfriend to be married. It’s called an alliance for a reason.” He pointed out calmly. “Even your mother knows alliances are necessary.”

Raising a brow, he couldn’t help wondering if she’d even looked at it properly. “It’s a wedding dress.”
