Sunny the Cactus, 2011 at 37 inches, vs. today. 14 years later, she’s now 5 feet tall from soil to crown. She’s tethered to stay upright, she needs straightening when we feel brave enough. Can’t remember exactly when she entered my life, but she’s probably around 25 years old (or perhaps even 30).

Scully likes to hunt, and leave elastic hair ties in her food. I hide them in places she frequents, and when she finds them she brings them to the crunchy food dish, and occasionally drops them in a water bowl. No need to worry, she never eats them, just hunts and plays with them. #cats #catpics 🐈
