Only 1 person in the whole study went from identifying as trans to not identifying as trans. The 1/5 number came from youth going between the binary and non-binary spectrum. This headline and post are misleading on purpose to fit the economist's editorial bent on the political issue.

It is so hard for women in the UK to avoid being pushed into medicalised births and for experts to blame this on more āolder and obeseā women having pregnancies is abhorrent. Predictable, but abhorrent.

1. Itās good to see this scandal being called out at last. My thanks and congratulations go to Lee Schofield, Karen Lloyd and Ian Convery. But itās also absolutely infuriating that it has come to this point, as I explain in this thread.

When was the last time you quaffed? Back in the day we were quaffing concoctions, elixirs, potions, flagons of mead, goblets of steaming hot blood, you name the liquid someone was quaffing it. Heartily. Nobody quaffs anymore, and you can really fucking tell.

The Internet is worse than ever because we, the people who build websites, have allowed our āgood user experienceā standard to erode as hardware has improved. Too much focus on specific technologies, too little focus on impact.

'Dandelions,' was painted by the Danish artist Bertha Wegmann around 1910. It wasn't an arbitrary choice of a plant to paint: the dandelion was used to promote the womenās liberation movement in Scandinavia because of its capacity for uncontrolled, strong-willed growth.
