A rather cowd but enjoyable early morning dog walk around Lytham starting at Fairhaven Lake, along the prom then onto Witches Wood and back to Fairhaven Lake. 4.5 miles approx. Time for a brew. Have a good day

A day on the plot, tidying, maintenance, harvesting (hopefully some Vit D) Actually got down to Tshirt for a good spell it is that warm! Couple of parsnips, carrots and some winter radish, egg plants fruiting nicely now too.

Bit of a sad morning this morning. Nipped on the plot to get the eggs and started to chat with a mate/ fellow plot holder. He informed me a good friend/ plot holder next door but one had passed away in the night. Di had suffered of late with her health and was giving up this year. RIP Di 🙏

Was given a gp note today, I have spend at least 7 hours a day on the allotment! Turns out my Vit D level has dropped a lot 😔 explains the symptoms of late. On the Vit D tablets for the 7 weeks.

A good productive day spent at the wobbly box. Upgrading the old halogen lights with LED, brighter (too bright on full), we can change the colour temp and they have dimmers as well. Also fitted the LED reading lights, much better than old ones. Time now for a brew and a box of mince pies 😉

Night out with family and friends celebrating my eldest daughters 29th birthday at Unami Kitchen World in Blackpool. Can't believe this time 29 years ago we was awaiting the head to pop out in Billinge hospital, Wigan. Time flies that is for certain.

Back home and now full t'brim, full on Sunday roast with fresh picked veg off the plot. Mate mentioned a seed order he is doing from Real Seeds so I kindly told him to add some paprika seed to his list 🤭 Only 24 days to go and sowing time starts with the peppers/ chillies
