I read a book called Theo of Golden by Levi Allen. If you want to read a book about kindness, generosity, friendship, love, joy, living with a purpose, and just a touch of mystery, this is a wonderful story. Have a box of tissues nearby. ✌️💙

I've been watching the incredible Ken Burns' documentary about the American Revolutionary War. I've learned more about all the people who fought and died than I ever did in school. Has anyone ever read LE Modesitt's Saga of Recluce books? There are at least 20 books when the series started in 1991. Modesitt has an interesting concept of "magic" in his world. His mages and wizards can either manipulate "Order" or "Chaos."

Nat Geo showed a wonderful documentary about our first brilliant woman astronaut, Sally Ride. I loved watching her star rise in NASA because I knew what obstacles she faced trying to succeed in a very chauvinistic atmosphere. This is a real astronaut, not some pop tart paying for a ride to space.
