Gundam Premier Night was expectedly quite fun! The first film was a horrid and cynical cashgrab, but it was still incredibly fun to see on the big screen. And the second film was a classic! Endless Waltz is still such crunchy 90s fun, and the remaster was splendid!

Playing the new Dragon Quest, and… it’s honestly kinda hard knowing that we live in a world without Akira Toriyama. I love what he brought to the world so much. I’m gonna cry a little more often when I experience his work. I’m glad we have so much wonderful art and artists in the world.

Knowing that “Sweet Child O Mine” by Guns N Roses is the end theme to the new Gundam: Hathaway movie really has bumped it to my #2 most hyped movie of the year, I really can be that simple. Just imagine the combination of classic Gundam emotional catharsis plus that sweet guitar jam… yeah man.

Whenever “Melania” comes to Prime Video, do not hate watch it there. If you NEED to dunk on it, take to the seas. Do NOT feed the machine, even ironically.

Well the Mario Galaxy trailers are getting progressively worse, and I am completely certain the movie won’t be as good as the first… at least the poster totally owns. That said, I had almost zero faith in the first movie and I saw it 12 times and imported a German bluray, so I’m open to surprises.

Made the mistake of looking for a single fucking review on Letterboxd for Return to Silent Hill that actually tries to engage with the movie, and fuuuuuuuck I’m so glad I deleted my account. Absolute hell hole. There is no good place to talk about movies.

Four years ago today, Square released one of the most insane and compelling trailers I have ever seen for a video game. And the game itself somehow turned out to be even more compelling. Final Fantasy Origin is one of my favourite gaming experiences of the past decade, and I think about it often.
