Process is quite a tricky thing. I say your art has to ring true to you, I study so my process *and* final results speak to me perfectly, what speaks to you? If you don't dig your nails into every technique (a lot at least) and make up your own, how do you know your art can't be more *for* you?

Little painterly painting advice. Sargeant sometimes took days or weeks to progress a painting. Lesson? Be careful in your choices but be bold when you lay them down individually. More so on the base layers of colors tones and shapes, if they're quite off, what is laid on top next will be off too.

Dunno if this helps but, even if the world feels bleak and like people get crueler and blinder, I believe we should care still, about others. Take care but if you're just scared, I'll be your friend till you need it no longer, I want hopeless people to feel like betting on hope is truly worthwhile.

This is definitely better than 16 yr old me's oils, i'll add texture with an acrylic base next time, Should be more fun... I'm eating techniques for dinner as we speak, getting the gist of oils... so that means a lot of practice.

We usually focus on one thing at a time in life, zig zag subjects, visually or within our thoughts, at least I add up things I see until I make sense of a whole, sometimes real dumb slow. There's a lot to every thing I see, lot of fun and beauty in them, I want to capture that vision in my panels.
