…seriously, what dentist - to a patient in pain - give an antibiotic that doesn’t start to work for 48 hours???

I am just now coming out of a tooth infection that spread to the entire side of my face. Dentist decided to give me some kind of slow-acting antibiotic. Who the fuck does that? I wound up in Urgent Care who sent me to the ER because of the pain. What dentist DOES that?

This is day 3 of me ordering these pancakes for breakfast. So. Fucking. Good.

2 things bug me about The West Wing: First & foremost: The theme song. It’s very good, but it doesn’t “end”, does it? 2nd: OMG, I get that they use abbreviations for stuff, but at least ONCE in a conversation, PLEASE say the full name of whatever you’re talking about! I can’t keep up!

I’ve always played the Sims all nice & stuff (of course naughty when my Sim becomes old enough, but the fun kind.) Now that I’m old, I’m not as interested in that. I’m giving my sweet main Sim little NIGHTMARE siblings & I gotta tell you, it is fun as hell. I see why people make mean Sims now.

I love me some double-Whopper for breakfast, but ai found this new place in town that does just breakfasts & they just got on DoorDash. Their pancakes are the size of dinner plates & are made from scratch & I am OBSESSED, now. They’ll slather them in strawberries, too.

I’m watching The West Wing for the first time. I had to check what year it started; I saw the characters freaking the fuck out because the president’s approval rating was “only 48%” & I was like, “Y’all sweet, innocent lil’ spring chickens. You don’t know what’s coming, do you?”

Captain Nibbles went missing for 24 hours. Obviously, I was pretty upset. Tense all day. Couldn’t rest, couldn’t eat. Once he finally came home, I de-tensed & damn near hit the floor… & now I’m fuckin’ *starving*.

I got my first robo-eyes upgrade. It’s still not quite there on my left eye, but my right can now see both near & far clearly. Seeing as that’s the worse-shaped eyeball, that’s fucking miraculous.

Aw. Sheep Detectives was cute. 🤗 Lotta “coping with the reality if death” in it. I don’t think the parents who brought their super-young’uns were prepared for that. Movie handled it well, though.

I love being able to see now like most of the population has been able to their whole lives. Truth be told, though, I kiiiiiiinda miss when I could not do as many chores because I was nearly blind, so I had help with them. Now if something’s off, not only can I see it, but I have to fix it, too. 😞

They out me back on Adderall instead of Ritalin & I could NOT be happier. …well, I will be when they get the dose thing right since I’m doing XRs now, but even so, it’s already 100% better.

I think my favorite part of Raiders of the Lost Ark is that they just leave it in a junk drawer, essentially.

I joke every year that I’m sad when my fur babies don’t bring me a present for Mothers’s Day. Well, they did today. I let them out for a few minutes, opened the door to let them in, & there they BOTH were, sitting pretty as you please, having laid my “present” neatly on the doormat: A baby rabbit.

It BAFFLES me how good Young Sheldon was. I finally got the courage to finish the final episodes (the last one was the first episode I ever saw, so I knew what was going to happen, but it also hooked me), & yeah, I bawled my eyes out… & immediately restarted.

They did NOT mis-label “Sweet & Fiery Gushers”. Someone brought them by the office & some unsuspecting adventurers just threw a whole one into their mouths & lived to regret it. If you take a MICRO-bite, they’re great for alleviating dry mouth, though.

Well, THAT was an exciting morning at work. Wasn’t a tornado, but was damn close & right on top of us. Apparently, all the areas around us lost power except us. Oh, joy.

There are people who think they can “design” with ChatGPT… Thing is, *you* CAN’T. Why? Your “designs” don’t work in practical applications! You “designed” a tailgate wrap for your truck? Guess what: ChatGPT added a FOOT in height to that truck. Are you going to extend your car so it can all fit?

At first I was REALLY excited to do a full-window-perf design for a business that had a fantasy theme, but the owner keeps wanting me to use copyrighted characters & logos & I’m about to tell her to go somewhere else. It’s over a month later & I want to scream:
