Had to fix some annoying bugs, but it seems to be doing good. Also apparently, I had the wrong shotgun sfx because I didnt put O_Tires SFX, This will be fixed. All I need to do is fix the enemy and map, so I should be good.

NEW ITEM: play the music box to teleport to the beginning. Helps when you feel stuck in an area. Added more to the map. Fixed bugs involving the enemies having more items then usual, and fixed a bug where copy card animation wouldn't play. #gamedeveloper #devlog #indie #rpgmaker #rpgmakerhorror

You can use this to cheat idc 3:< This will be the map for the beta, I want it to be small as it's kind of the tutorial. Also I think it would be great for the player to experience minimal backtracking and item collecting, to not expect too much of them. Finished all the animations as well #devlog

Ok so I added some dark rooms, and also fixed some bugs. NEW item: Lantern, it can light your way in rooms. In the beta it wont do much, but in the full game, I will give the option to have bigger lighting size. So both Flares and Lantern can be used to light areas. #devlog #horrorgame

I didnt get to do much today unfortunately, but I've been experimenting with the chaser Ai and also messing around with doors. I think Im going to use stairs for transporting to other scenes instead of using doors. Instead doors will be used to unlock areas INSIDE a scene #devlog

You can take the walls now. You don’t just have to break them but you’ll be very slow when theyre in inventory. Added some more RNG, if you get low numbers when trying to break, there’s a chance you could lose HP. #devlog #indie #immersivesim #rpg

Got some inspiration from the rpg maker discord. They said “what if you could use the chest like a weapon”. Haha, feels like dead rising. I’m thinking you could use the chest to trap an enemy in.

Added some Immersive sim elements to my video game. Instead of opening a chest, you can take it and then use it to be sneaky. Inspired by the Box from Metal Gear. Or what if you could just break a wall to pass instead of finding another opening? #rpgmaker #devlog #gamedev #indie #immersivesim
