🍺🎣 We know clean water is essential for life, but what about for your favorite local brewery or fishing spot? 👉 The connection is more direct than we think. Mandi Taylor explores how poor water quality can devastate local economies, threatening everything from property values to thousands of jobs.

This is where conservation meets community. On the Deep River, the obsolete Ramseur Dam fragments habitat for vital species (like the Yellow Lampmussel) and blocks paddlers on the Deep River Blueway.

It was a concrete problem. For decades, the 235-foot-long Hoosier Dam blocked the Rocky River, choking off 253 miles of habitat from a 1,100-mile downstream network. This was devastating for aquatic populations, including the endangered Cape Fear Shiner. 🐟

The Slowplay property is truly something special with its rolling hills, valleys, grasslands & forested areas. For generations, its pond has been a go-to spot for catfish and an escape from summer heat. Seeing places where agriculture, nature & conservation efforts come together, is truly inspiring.

🦦 A family of beavers in the Czech Republic just saved the government $1.2 MILLION by building a series of dams that restored a vital wetland ecosystem. We're talking improved water quality, a boost for local wildlife, and better flood prevention, all for the low, low price of... absolutely free!
