Been geeking out on the 6 Day race data 🤓👟! Up to 200K steps/day 111 hrs moving time/33hrs stop time 560+ mi = 11:53/mi moving pace Slept ~1.5 hrs/day 😵‍💫 If I cut stop time in ½ = +66 mi → 627 mi 🤔. This is 3.6% off the men’s WR (645 mi). How much can you suffer?

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠🌈. A year ago around this time is when I went through the professional diagnosis and found out I’m Autistic/ADHD. It’s the second most significant thing to happen in my life, behind meeting my husband 💖! I shared a message ⬇️.

Lift heavy things, eat tacos 😄💪🌮! I decided not to go to Japan for the 6-day race—it’s a massive trip/endeavor! I’m enjoying being at home 🏠🌵⛰️, lifting🏋️‍♀️, rebuilding my volume 🧱, and doing the basics. I’ve pivoted to another race in June & the Vermont 100 in July 🙌🎉!

I loved the Ice Age 50 miler- I wish I’d done it sooner! After focusing on longer Road/Track Ultras, this was a great re-intro to the intensity & challenges of Ultra-Trail & 50 mi-100km. The pickle juice at mile 40 felt like it recharged my brain like a battery 🥒🔋💃.

Some of my favorite hill running mantras: Uphill = “Climb a rope” 🧗‍♀️ I picture myself like a monkey pulling up a rope- drive arms, happy thoughts🐒. Downhill = “Fast feet” + “Sink like butter” 👟🧈 Quick steps, lean in, don’t fight gravity. Pinwheel the arms for balance!

It lights up my soul living so close to the beautiful Sabino Canyon trails 💖! I’m finally running the legendary Ice Age 50 this weekend—a bucket list race I’ve always wanted to do 🪣✅. It’s a great tune-up for my 6-Day race in Japan in a few wks. See many of y’all soon 🙌!

Had a blast pacing Lucja through the night of the Arizona Monster 300 to mile 178 🙌🌖👯‍♀️! Made good time and loved our deep conversations 💕. Also met Gobi the dog from Finding Gobi - she’s a sweetheart 💖🐶!

Got back on mountain trails yesterday for the first time in a while. After lots of road running and flat circles this was sooo much fun 😄🫶⛰️. I ran from our new house too- grateful to be running distance to the Sabino Canyon trails!

Such an honor to cheer on the participants, including the incredible ultra walker Sandra Brown as she crushed the #UltraBurjassot 48Hr race at 76 years young. She won the race with 246.8km! 🏃‍♀️🎤🔥 What an inspiration 👏👏!
