So I found my old Umineko EP5 Companion book. I got this in...2010 I think? It's got concept art, detailed timelines of events and R07 interviews. I think EP4 was being translated at the time so I got this to be ready for the future. I think I'll sell it to an Umineko fan if one would want it.

I do feel what I write is a case of "If you don't like it, do something about it." I do not like a lot of things yet I am putting those things in what I write in a way I find more engaging? I suppose that can be considered constructive rather than simply hating and moving on? I'm not sure.

So this is Mei Lin. The third doll. Her themes in the story is identity of her former human self and then of her new doll self. She is also a reflection of 19th century racism, orientalism amd Japonism.

I did recently discover that I gave a character a name that is sadly super similiar to a Kuroshitsuji. Kuroshitsuji: Mey Rin Me: Mei Lin / May Lyn I already committed to the name though so....Oh well. Coincidence noted...

I'm going to talk about a basic story theory I saw a long time ago but stuck with me since I read it. The book it was from wasn't a how to draw manga book, it was a how to write manga stories. I think it was "Comickers Art 3" which I brought for someone in 2009, not without reading it a bit first.
