I always find it weird how I'm much more comfortable writing females than males. Not just in tickle related stuff, but in general. Noticing this cause I'm writing an emotional scene between 2 guys for chapter 9 and I'm struggling a little bit.

Just an FYI, I still have my tickle loving side. And it's still very prominent. My brain has just been focused on these 4 characters and their shit the whole time. Started chapter 8 and I'm like "back to the gnome for more of her shit. Let's see if she sees the two guys as friends now. Probably not

I'm in a dilemma. Do I have the chapter start and end with sadness? Or do I have it where the elf is happy at the end of it and save the sad conversation for another chapter, probably 2 chapters later if I do move it.

Brain: lets consume things like comedies, romance, fantasy, with hints of tragedy in there. Then let's write stories where I'm basically crying for the characters most of the time, especially towards the end. I don't get my brain sometimes.

Story concept: goddess of monsters falls in love with the hero, joins his party, kills everyone else in his party, when he keeps thinking abt his crush, she takes her soul and puts it into boss monsters for them to kill over and over. Perspective, the hero as he finds the truth and stops the goddess

I am almost done with act 1! Just need to finish chapter 6! And it's starting to feel like they're becoming friends at the end! Like they're accepting this dynamic before being thrown a curveball that's gonna force them to get along. (I'm looking at you GNOME!)

I need opinions for my gnome character main memory scenes. Original memory scenes: 1) her and her family going shopping after her elemental affinity test 2) her passing the entrance exam to her dream school a few years late because she's bad at magic 3) her tragic scene

First draft of chapter 4 is done! Buuuuuut I ran into another problem. Specifically for the gnome. Do I go with my original plan? Or rewrite her stuff to make more connections between her and the dwarf? I don't know! Her first dedicated chapter is up next!!@ AHHHHH!

It's weird how, in order to write this story, I essentially have to make myself cry thinking about the shit I'm gonna put them through before returning to the beginning and thinking about how I'm gonna lead up to it. Somehow, it's been working too.
