Car update 2: After many phone calls today and a lot of back and forth... THEY ARE REPLACING MY ENGINE!! It is a used engine, but that's to be expected. It has less miles on it than my current engine, and they are giving me a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on it!! Just waiting for the tow truck!

Today makes 21 years since my dad passed. Sometimes I can't even comprehend how it has been that long. Today is also my brother-in-law's birthday. Normally we would be celebrating that instead, but he passed in July. At least it has made me think of my sister more, and talk to her a bit more too.

Something I didn't realize, is how much paper pulp this process would create!! It's not too much of a big deal, it just is taking me longer to finish this piece since it takes so much longer to clean up... That and my arm is killing me from rubbing the paper off! 😆 #quiltsky #artquilt

Called to get an update on the claim being filed by the oil change place for my car. The manager was super rude and treated me like I'm some dumb woman who doesn't know the process. Said he was still reviewing stuff and it was up to the "higher ups" what they were going to do.... /1

Update on my car. I had to tow it back to my apartment complex. The engine is dead. Apparently somewhere between when I got my oil change on Thursday and this morning, the oil filter fell out and I lost all my oil. Now I wait to see what the oil change shop is going to do about it. 🫤

Well that's not a great start to my day. Waiting on someone to come check out my car. 🫤 At least it's a quiet road and pretty out this morning.
