I had an amazing birthday week and weekend with my husband and son and I wanted to thank everyone who wished me well. I got to sew and quilt to my heart's content. I was able to get a new-to-me embroidery machine out of a very very long layaway and got to play with all its bells and whistles! /1

I absolutely love when I can find a pantograph pattern that fits perfectly with the theme of the quilt. This is the Play Ball pantograph pattern from Urban Elementz on a jersey quilt. The quilt is made up of football and baseball jerseys. PERFECT! #quiltsky

I'm so excited!! Today I get to play with my new to me embroidery machine. I finally paid off the layaway (it took a long time!) and got it delivered this week! It has so many upgrades from my old machine I feel like a queen!! 👸🏽

FINALLY!! I finally got the jersey quilt top sewn together! Now to take a breather for the rest of the night and tomorrow get started on getting both the T-shirt quilt and the jersey quilt on the frame and quilted! #quiltsky

Good Saturday morning! Here's are 2 important websites I just heard about. The first is a website that documents and identifies ICE agents. This is very important work since we will need this information when we finally hold our own Nuremberg trials for Trump's Gestapo. /1

I got new glasses!! The first pair are sunglasses where the lenses turn purple in the sun and are for wearing at the Free Mom Hugs booth next month! The second pair reminded me of quilts! 🤓

The top is done!! Next time I'm planning out the top before I start cutting! 😆😆 This ended up like putting together a puzzle, but one that I didn't have a picture of the final picture. Now on to getting it ready for quilting! 🥰

Something I've been thinking about. How many people actually watch regular broadcast TV anymore? We don't have a digital antenna nor do we have cable.

My son has autism. He's also non-speaking, has epilepsy, and is mentally like a toddler. NONE OF THIS IS BECAUSE I TOOK TYLENOL DURING MY PREGNANCY!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

I finally broke down and bought a cheap corded iron. It has made fusing the stabilizer on the back of the shirts soooooo much easier! Now I can finish a shirt in one pass, without having to wait for the iron to heat back up. I figured this will be my iron for all fusibles! #quiltsky #tshirtquilt
