I don't know what the process is for introducing new tech/tools, but if there isn't a process for estimating individual/societal impact and coming up with guardrails, protections, regulations, there really needs to be. This process didn't really seem to happen for AI.

Tried to watch the newest Superman movie yesterday... I just couldn't get into it. It was corny as hell. I know I know... Superhero movie... but even for that, it was pretty corny.

I didn't really have any expectations of what DC would be like, but general kindness wasn't in my bingo card. People apologize if paths conflict, someone had no problem talking with me about the bus and things to do, people actually smile and acknowledge you when you say hi. It was awesome.

Okay so, wtf is up with American retail lately. I'm seeing multiple companies advertising Black Friday in July. I just imagine they have a "break glass for emergency" and it's a Black Friday button. If people aren't buying, it's probably cause they need money. Having more jobs would be helpful.

I process very little when I read aloud. I actually process better when I read in my head. In my head, I may also read the same things multiple times so maybe that's why. Not entirely sure.

Why are there so many remakes for games and movies? They don't have to come up with a new story/theme. Presumbly, it already has a fanbase. So, that significantly reduces the efforts for marketing. Those are the reasons I can think of. From a business standpoint, I can see why they're so popular
