Oh hey, I have a game coming out this week! In IronFrame, players are mech pilots taking on a variety of jobs, from megacorporations to freedom fighters, and the game is designed with short campaigns and one shots in mind! I do find it mildly humorous that I started up a D&D 5.5 game a little over a month before the flood gates opened with these new books. Granted I preordered them but do you expect me to remember that?! 😂

Well, got a moment of inspiration and messed around on HeroForge. No idea who this character is, or anything about them. But, I guess it's time to find out, 😂 (Rogue/Bard or Rogue/Ranger seems fitting, but we'll see I guess).

Finding out through Defunctland that Disney effectively built a walking tank straight out of Metal Gear, is not something I was expecting. Granted I'm not surprised it did happen, all things considered, but still.

I always find it mildly humorous, and ironic, that I wound up running a Zelda themed D&D game on the channel. When my first character ever was in a Pathfinder 1e Zelda game. He was a Hylian fighter, member of the guard, and yes as a result, had no perception score.

This trend of artists drawing their own version of the Frieren perspective drawing is absolutely killing me. I love it so much.

Mighty Nein's first three episodes are solid, and really enjoyable. It genuinely feels like the CR crew learned from Vox Machina. The third episode is the weakest, and it's only because you're kind of waiting for the adventure to start more or less. But it's still good. Can't wait for more.

I saw a comment somewhere point out that Caleb looks really close to Bruce Banner from Earth's Mightiest Heroes. And after a side by side, yeah I can see it. It's not exact but it's there. It's mainly the hair and 5 o'clock shadow.

This year was a strong year for gaming as a whole. Overall the list of nominees for the game awards is solid. I can pretty much get behind whoever wins.

So I realized they probably kept Links sword out of the official set image to avoid nerds like me from analyzing it. Then speculating on what games they're pulling from.

One thing I do appreciate in seeing these images from the set of the Zelda movie. They kept how insanely pointy Hylian ears are. I don't know, just a nice detail. Since it seems a lot of fantasy productions for TV and movies tend to keep things more subdued.
