After another summery day potentially strong storms are possible Saturday⛈️ The Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal risk (1/5) and a slight risk (2/5) for our region. This means we could be seeing isolated to scattered strong or severe storms tomorrow, especially in southern Vermont.

Still warm and summer-like today with highs expected to be in the low and mid-80s! However, today will have more clouds, especially later in the day as clouds arrive ahead of a system expected to bring scattered precipitation this weekend. But overall, it's still a nice Friday!

We have a good chance at seeing the aurora tonight in the mid-latitudes if skies remain clear, and the approaching coronal mass ejection impacts the Earth's magnetic field during the overnight!🌌

We're nice and seasonable today, then the weather keeps warming up this week! Highs will likely be in the 80s Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Thursday will be the warmest day with some spots potentially reaching 90° in the valleys. Make sure to drink plenty of water!

Meteorological Summer begins TODAY!☀️ June 1st is the official start of meteorological summer, which lasts through the end of August. These are the warmest average months of the year and we're going to be seeing some summer-like warmth again this week with 70s, 80s, and potentially 90s.

Patchy fog is lowering visibility in parts of our region early Monday! Remember to turn your headlights ON if you have to drive through fog. Once the fog lifts, we'll be left with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will be warmer than this past weekend, climbing up to around 70°!
