As of 2:19pm, it is OFFICIALLY FALL🍁 And it is already looking fall-like! There's patchy foliage almost everywhere and the high peaks are nearing peak foliage! Due to the drought, peak will likely be 1-3 weeks earlier and we're already seeing muted but still pretty colors!

Our pattern is finally shifting, and we have rain in the forecast! Widespread showers will move in tomorrow morning. By tomorrow evening northern areas will likely have upwards of a quarter of an inch of rainfall, but rainfall totals will be lower further south🌧

What a wild range of temperatures across the board this morning! Some places, like Berlin, NH, are down below freezing again this morning. But there are also some areas in the Champlain Valley that are still seeing temperatures in the upper 50s!

A Freeze Watch has been issued for parts of the Northeast Kingdom, Adirondacks, and northern New Hampshire Friday night into Saturday morning. Temperatures in the mid to upper 20s could kill crops, damage sensitive vegetation or unprotected outdoor plumbing.

WCAX obtained an alert sent out to employees last week. While not specifying when the incident took place, officials say the suspect fit the description of a potential child abductor, but they added that there was no evidence they actually attempted to take a baby.
