Hemimorphite - Land of the Lustrous / Houseki no Kuni Wanted to make a sister piece to my Watermelon Tourmaline image I did a bit back (Cause I love this pair) While Watermelon's is more fantastical, I wanted Hemimorphite's to feel more grounded while still keeping the dream-like quality.

Got this as a fun Commission from a friend of mine! Their character is named Woon, new costume and had fun designing this! I loved the vibe of the character they described and definitely had fun designing the sirens! (labeled it as mature just to be safe, but nothing scandalous is showing)

YALL, OBLIVION GOT REMASTERED AND YALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW PSYCHED I AM i have had a crush on martin since i was A KID so I mean This was from my old, deleted twitter, never reposted it cause i felt like i couldn't do martin enough justice but man i am so psyched i don't care, look at him!!!!!!!

MORE BRAINROT This was based on a convo between a friend and i about how Grimora looked like she'd fit in the setting of "Pride and prejudice and zombies" so of course i had to make a whole movie night comic over it. .... This was way too much of an idea and i should have stopped myself.

Some recent inscryption work. wanted to draw Grimora cause I just adore her and also decided to play with contrast and perspective when i was working with the prospector.

Watermelon Tourmaline, Land of the Lustrous Been wanting to do a "powderless" version of this character for a while because not only do I LOVE tourmalines (With my own OC / Online sona being "Queen Ichigo Rubellite") But I also really just wanted to try my hand at the layered colors of gem!

Some of the Final exercises I did once I was satisfied with the result of my study poses from the Non-Anime Reference photo section from @adorkastock.com's Deviantart page. Cant say enough how grateful there was such a huge resource to use when trying to translate human form into the anime style

A Pokémon Art study: Wasn't Feeling particularly inspired to draw a whole finished illustration so I settled on a doing a bunch of sketches and as one thing led to another, it became a whole study. Suprisingly: It actually did refresh and inspire me cause now I wanna test this new skill some more!

Zelda: Light Restored A version of TOTK Zelda. After the final battle with dragon form Ganondorf and an injured Dragon Zelda and Link plummet, the sages reveal to Zelda that the way to return from her dragon form and become whole again is to forgive herself and let go of her grief and regret.

Zelda: Light Enraged A version of TOTK Zelda where Zelda; upon losing Sonia, snaps, temporarily forsaking her guiding principles of kindness and wisdom in a blind attempt to take out the man who keeps taking away everything she loves.

Lonsdaleite: The Aurora Beast The gemfolk today were not the first of their kind Millions of years ago, the first of this magical life form arrived from the heavens like meteors. With their arrival came the extinction of an age, and with their might, they reshaped the earth to suit their wishes.

Kutnohorite: Rosy Layabout Gemfolk beds are usually just shallow pits filled with lots of cushions they can sink into. The excess of cushions allows them space to toss and turn without fear of falling and breaking into pieces.

Jade: Sweet Siblings Gemfolk have their own beauty standards, largely centered around their hair and bodies. In general, less "human" skin tones like green, blue, purple, etc or gems with shinier more clear hair tend to be considered closer to their magical origins and thus more "beautiful".

Iolite: Violet Voyager Most Gemfolk are born of a single type of gemstones, though inclusions are somewhat common and formed naturally. Intergrowth and Hybrid crystals, however, are usually created either when their chrysalis is severely damaged between reincarnations or if they lose a limb in life

Hiddenite: Elegant Enchantress What makes the gems that make up the body of Gemfolk different from gemstones just found in the earth is that the gems that make up the body of the Gemfolk are INCREDIBLY rich in magic. This makes them targets for those looking for fuel for powerful enchantments.

Garnet: Volcanic Vagabond As the gems they are made of are often far more resilient than creatures of flesh and bone, Gemfolk do not have the same concept of hot and cold as we do. As such seasonal changes in temperature are less noticeable to them.

Fluorite: Fragile Scholar Gems Live multiple lives through a cycle of Life, death, metamorphosis, and rebirth. However, memories do not carry over between their lives and forms so just humans and other creatures must, they must record their history in the forms of art, writings, and stories.

WITCHY WEDNESDAY PT 2!! This wednesday decided on a pair of cat themed witches!!

Emerald: Beryl Bard Most gemfolk choose to avoid drawing attention to themselves, some gemfolk RELISH the chance to show off their brilliant colors. Most commonly it is the harder gems that can defend themselves against people looking to sell or use whichever magical gemstone they are made of.

Felt Witchy this Wednesday so I thought i'd doodle out a couple bat themed witches to celebrate the season I wanna make "Witchy Wednesday" a thing where i either draw these three's antics or new witches but idk with my hectic schedule

Diamond: Graceful Gaurdian Due to the gems they are made of being so coveted by other species, Many gemfolk live secluded lives. Most gems only live in groups of less than 100 people. Solitary gems often still prefer having at least a pet or companion to keep them company.

Gems live around ~100-120 years. After a long life, of if they've be irreparably shattered, they will enter a state of rest within a crystal and begin to take new form, same gem family as the last but with a new color and new shape. This process will take around 10-20 year.

Have I ever showed yall my sona? It's not all that creative, she basically is just me but as a princess of a strawberry and gemstone themed kingdom. (the royal dress is always changing. which honestly suits her. I basically have determined they are ALL cannon.)

Boleite: Solitary Stargazer Gems as they age tend start to exhibit Run-away crystal growth and they begin to grow stiff. Within 10-20 years of this they will become indistinguishable from a giant natural crystal formation.

Andalusite: Lady of the Whispering Woods Gemfolk are people born of Magic and Earth. They gather and are drawn to the most magic-rich places on earth. Some say They guard these places jealously, others say their magical nature simply draws them there.

I do not know why it's marking it as adult. It's literally just pokemon talking to each other. There is nothing in this image that I would be ashamed to show to a young child
