8 years ago I made this NES game called Lizard. I never know how to describe it... a quiet game of exploration, with a little bit of difficulty, a little bit of mystery. It was a kind of game I wanted to see more of, and I still look at it fondly. rainwarrior.ca/lizard/

Finding some of my old game design notes while visiting my mom’s, circa ‘94 if I had to guess. There’s a reason @kevinhanley.khangames.com’s Study Hall instantly appealed to me. Stat pages followed, so it was some sort of RPG.

Ice dams and homebrews don’t mix! Learned this one the hard way, but no games were damaged. The drywall wasn’t so lucky.
