There was something very poetic about the way Vanille described the world, but Reiji couldn't help but get distracted by the way she mentioned this 'fal'Cie', and his head tilts in his curiosity. ❝ Fal'Cie? ❞ He repeats, once again, with his Wutaian accent curving around the edges of the word.

Reiji laughs at her enthusiasm, finding it incredibly endearing even if he had only just met her. ❝ I don’t recognise your name— not that that means much of course, but for example I’m from Wutai. Are you maybe frommmm… Mideel? ❞ He guesses, completely wrong of course, but he has no clue.
