She looked over her, tilting her head. Her shirt was still pulled up. "You alright down there?"

Gwen stood in the kitchen, eating some cereal in nothing but her boxers. She had a bad dream and was trying to see if she could eat enough to not need to sleep again tonight. Mortimer hissed at her, sensing the symbiote.

Gwen saw the sword being swung at her. She separated her body, making it so the sword passed through her but didn't cut. "Well that one hell of a...... Oooooh wait. I forgot. Carnage is out." The red, fluid suit absorbed into the pores of her skin, receding until only a bit covered her more-

"Wait wait wait...... Your Cletus isn't a serial killer in this universe or something?" Oh boy. Here we go.

"Well I can have your back. And if you want, I can take Carnage off the table. My symbiote is basically made of antibodies. I can put a little of me in him, rip him from the suit, then eat him." All said casually as if talking about weekend plans.

"Oh totally. Carnage is more like a service dog now." She took a wiff of the air and licked her lips, her tongue unnaturally long because she forgot to keep it in check. "What do you recommend? Otherwise I'll get one of everything."

"Oh I just heard about a demon hunter named Dante. Red jacket. Big ass sword. You seem to fit the bill." The six foot five monster loomed over him. It's form constantly shifting. "Name is Gwen. Nice to meet ya."

"It did at first. Especially with what was done to me when I first woke up from being dead." There was a pause so she could open the bakery door. And also get the slight flare of anger to calm down. "But I eventually learned to live with it. I also took time to learn about Carnage. It didn't mean-

"Oh well technically I still have organs in a way. Just one really big one that I can fight with and use as a suit. The whole being dead thing isn't really a factor. It just means I don't have a pulse and don't need to breathe. When it comes to sleeping, I'm good with sleeping for like two hours-
