After a decade of working my dream job, it's over. I was laid off from theScore esports today. Gonna take some time to mourn and be offline. I'll probably have more thoughts later, but for now if you know anyone who needs a writer, producer, or video host, please let me know.

After 10 amazing years, today is my last day at theScore esports. It's been an amazing ride, and I'm so grateful for the career I've had and the people I've met. This isn't the ending that I would have chosen, but in this industry you don't always get to choose your ending.

This is a really great thread that very much encapsulates how I and, I think, many other folks are feeling today. I'm pretty sad, but I do really appreciate the optimism here.

The extent to which ticketmaster has made going to live shows for any moderately big artist borderline impossible is so bleak. Why are literally 50% of a show's tickets "verified resale" 30 mins after they go up for sale. Imagine if people just bought tickets to shows they wanted to see.
