Finally got to this novel! Annabell by Kathleen Winter. It's about an intersex person raised in a hardcore outdoorsy and hunter culture in 1968. I'm only 68 pages in and it is so intense already, and the baby isn't even a few weeks old yet! I had to pause a bit after the hospital surgery "consult".

It's been so long since I rolled dice for any game that when I couldn't find my dice bag I started crying. Not over the dice, but over the fact that I haven't left the house to do this sort of thing in years. Very stupid thing to get emotional about. Dont worry, I know my rolls will still be trash.
