I'm transitioning to only solid wardrobe pieces (with perhaps some jacquard, velvet burnout, or lace detailing for some sophistication). I just can't do patterns anymore... too stressful. I'm focusing on simplifying my mind (and thus, life) nowadays. Hoping to feel more grounded and resilient soon!

My husband and I are traveling internationally for 2 weeks soon, so we bought indoor kitty cams for our house to ensure they're okay while we're out. However, now I can't help but frequently check in on our 2 furry friends while I'm still here at work, only a 10 minute drive away. Dey so cyute!! ^_^

I always love the more diffuse, peaceful energy of Florida in the late Spring and Summer ~ :) Snowbirds have flown back up north leaving us lizardy locals to enjoy the warmer temps with smaller crowds. As a Southerner, there is something just so wonderful about everything slowing down in the summer

Even though Florida can be crazy with all the MAGAs & hurricane season (especially on my Gulf Coast side), I still am so happy to live here in the land of endless summer! It's the first cloudy day in forever and I can already feel my mood darken. My soul truly needs sunshine to be happy.

Loved Timothée Chalamet's #SAG speech last night after he surprisingly won Best Actor! :) I've been a fan of TC since Call Me By Your Name and have never doubted his character or acting prowess. (I also appreciate his fun spunk!) The dude is clearly grateful and is so inspired to be a great actor.

Anora going 0/6 at the Critics Choice Awards before the final award... to winning Best Picture there, and then winning Best Film at PGA and Sean Baker winning Best Director at DGA was such an incredibly steep emotional rollercoaster this weekend. Loving this momentum shift! Let's go ANORA HIVE! :D

BAFTA nominations are out! Loved Villeneuve making it in for Director. :) Disliked Challengers getting nada :( Loved Anora doing consistently well (a Yura Borisov Supporting Actor Oscar nom would make me so happy. Hoping hard for that!). Thumbs down to the too-many EP noms. Thumbs sideways for ACU.

The hilarious chaos this AM from the 20 minute SAG nominations posting delay and the resulting reactions from the finally-released nominations has been wild! I personally LOVE the Pamela Anderson Actress nomination. This group clearly loves Wicked & ACU, but I'll be rooting for Anora & Conclave

It's okay to stop (or pause) engaging in hobbies you enjoyed before in previous eras of your life, in order to make room for different activities that bring new sparks of joy! :) We're all growing and changing... it's important to let go of who you were in order to become who you are, and will be.
