I think the most pointless job might be the checkout clerk at the Hotel California. You sure would think they’d be first on the chopping block when the cost-cutting measures hit.

I've never understood TV Profiles. Do most people watch TV alone? Allow multiple selection: The whole family's watching. Just my wife & I are watching. Now it's just me. This and other features often feel like the result of developers largely being young people who live in a house with roommates.

ChatGPT's full of it, right? No Apple acknowledgment in '23. No reporting of it in iOS 17 & then in iOS 18, implying Apple knew but didn't care or couldn't fix it. It feels like this:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudden_...
A UI issue, sure, but basically user error.

Thanks for sharing the new Bad Lip Reading. One thing - on your entry, you've got the wrong link for Bushes of Love (you repeat the Bedtime Thoughts url). Probably should be this one?

Prince of Bel Air (1986 Mark Harmon / Kirstie Alley) and Fresh Prince of Bel Air (Now Here’s A Little Story) Is there some connection there? Is there some shared older reference? This can’t just be a coincidence, right?

Imagine the incredible good will if you sponsored the uniform for your local MLB team & then announced that your logo choice was to have no logo at all. To be the one team in baseball with no stupid sleeve logo. There would be so much more benefit to that buzz than what this dumb logo patch gets.
